Rivet

We Shree Ganesh Rivets and Fasteners are engaged in offering Rivet to our clients in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and all over India. A rivet, headed pin, or bolt is used as a permanent fastening in metals; it was essential in steel construction for decades. By hammering or applying direct pressure to the plain end of the pin, a head is produced. Small copper, brass, aluminium, iron, or steel rivets can be cold riveted, but bigger iron and steel rivets must be heated to ensure quick and simple closure. A rivet is a mechanical fastening that is permanent. A rivet consists of a smooth cylindrical shaft with a head on one end before it is placed. The tail is the opposite end of the head. The rivet is installed in a punched or drilled hole, and the tail is upset, or bucked (i.e. distorted), to roughly 1.5 times the original shaft diameter, keeping the rivet in place. To put it another way, the hammering or tugging forms a new "head" on the tail end by flattening the "tail" material, resulting in a dumbbell-shaped rivet. The original head of the rivet is referred to as the factory head, while the deformed end is referred to as the shop head or buck-tail.

We are known as the leading Manufacturers, Suppliers, Providers, Stockist, Exporters, Traders, Dealers, Retailer and Wholesalers of Rivet. When a rivet is put, it is drilled, inserted, or punched into a hole, and then the tail is bent to keep the rivet in place. The tail of the rivet is deformed by hammering or crushing it, which flattens the material and causes the tail to grow by roughly one-half the diameter of the stem's original diameter. When done, the tail resembles a dumbbell, and the riveted joint is complete. With a variety of rivet patterns, including single, double, and zig-zag formations, riveting can create lap or butt joints.
